With operations in Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria, TAHC works through three subsidiaries to deliver tailored housing solutions that meet the unique needs of each region. Our founding directors and sponsors bring over 70 years of combined director-level experience in housing finance, housing development, law, and management across the United Kingdom, West Africa, and East Africa. Femi is a housing finance professional and architect with over 34 years’ experience in housing finance, development, and project management. Femi’s current focus is developing afro-centric housing finance solutions which address the unique context of predominantly low income and informal economies in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Olu has worked in the housing sector in the UK and around the world for the past 30 years. During this period he has held successful CEO and Executive Director roles in some of the UK's leading affordable housing developers and managers, with a turnover of up to £1 billion and assets worth £10 billion. Olu is a co-founder and investor of The African Housing Company (TAHCO), a start-up operating in sub-Saharan Africa.
With over thirty years work experience in Nigeria & the United Kingdom, Isoken has held several key managerial positions that have brought her training & experience to bear. On the back of her innovations and achievements, she has been transforming the ministry through the application of technology in planning, development & building control, urban renewal & regeneration initiatives to deliver a sustainable built environment in the State. She is an independent Director of TAHCO & the MD/CEO of AIDC Limited.
Prof. Inyangete’s visionary and transformational leadership propelled the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company PLC from a fledgling start up to one of the top 50 most innovative companies in Nigeria. Dr Inyangete brings substantial strategic and operational leadership, strong track record of building positive relationships at the highest levels with stakeholders including governments across the housing value chain.
Mrs. Oyemi is a graduate of Law from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom with an extensive background in Corporate Law, specialising in contracts & negotiations. After nine years in legal practice, she transitioned to the telecommunications sector, joining MTN Nigeria in 2001. She currently serves as the CEO of a Facilities Management company where she leverages her expertise to deliver efficient & compliant real estate solutions.
Dr. Teri Okoro, founder of the London-based TOCA, is unique - a practicing Architect, Access Consultant, and chartered project professional with Bartlett qualifications in Urban Development Planning and a passion for sustainability and inclusion. As Principal Architect at a leading London Housing Association’s practice, she delivered mixed-use/large new-build housing (rent/sale/for older residents) before setting up TOCA.
Derek is Chair of the Board at Aquila Services Group PLC and a Strategic Advisor to TAHC Ltd. Prior to joining Altair, he was Co-founder and MD of HACAS Group PLC, a successful quoted social housing consultancy that became a major subsidiary within Tribal Group. Derek now divides his time between several senior roles across multiple organisations and is a consultant on a number of major funding projects for affordable housing
